Westall Park - A Natural Networks Case Study
Westall Park Natural Burial Ground sits in the heart of the old ‘Forest of Feckenham’ and forms part of an important wildlife corridor through the area. Since the 4.6ha site was converted from grazed grassland to a natural burial ground 22 years ago it has seen the restoration of flower-rich hay meadows, creation of a pond and planting of numerous memorial trees; Natural Networks were invited in to offer further advice.
Meadow Creation - A Natural Networks Case Study

The Shatterford Woods project was a collaboration with Butterfly Conservation and Forestry England and was one of the first Natural Networks projects to be completed. Shatterford Woods lies just inside the Worcestershire’s northern border with Shropshire and forms a satellite woodland of the Wyre Forest, an area which is home to several rare butterflies and a host of other wildlife
Duck Brook - A Natural Networks Case Study
The Duck Brook restoration is an exciting project in the heart of Worcester City. In Spring 2020, the brook was given a new lease of life by Worcester City Council, who worked with the Environment Agency to improve the channel and surrounding habitat for wildlife and flood management. Natural Networks provided advice and funding towards the biodiversity outcomes of this important scheme.

St Nicholas’ Church – a Natural Networks case study
Hidden away in a pretty corner of Warndon lies St Nicholas’ Church; a Grade 1 listed building, parts of which date back to the early 12th Century. The church holds the Eco Church Bronze Award for the changes it has made to lessen its impact on the environment and, with the help of Natural Networks, was keen to push this work further by enhancing the habitats in and around the churchyard.
